Studio Kerning is an independent web development studio based in Brisbane, working with clients worldwide. Founded in 2019, we’ve shipped 142+ projects for brands, startups, and creators who care about craft as much as we do.
Slow is fast.
We believe the best websites take their time. A week spent on architecture saves a month of rework. An afternoon spent on typography saves a lifetime of regret.
We don’t chase trends. We pick the stack that fits the problem — sometimes that’s Next.js, sometimes it’s plain HTML and CSS. The point is always the same: fast, accessible, maintainable, beautiful.

Ten years of building for the web, previously at two Sydney agencies. Writes the code, ships the sites, answers the emails. Partial to good espresso and the phrase “it depends.”
Designer, researcher, occasional illustrator. Leads the discovery and design phases, from stakeholder interviews to final Figma handoff. Keeps us honest about the user.
